Most people who search for book printing in Pretoria want three answers: how much it costs, what binding options exist, and how the books get to them. The short version: 100 A5 paperbacks start from about R4,500, we offer perfect-bound softcover books, and we courier the finished books to any address in Pretoria.
Our studio is in Fourways, Johannesburg. Pretoria authors usually work with us remotely by email, phone and WhatsApp, and can come through for a consultation if they prefer to meet.
Printing for Pretoria’s academics, churches and authors
Pretoria’s universities, from the University of Pretoria in Hatfield to UNISA and TUT, mean a steady stream of academic books, published theses, study guides and conference proceedings. The city also has some of the country’s largest congregations, especially in Pretoria East, and many of them publish devotionals and teaching material for their members.
Printing works the same whatever language your book is in, so Afrikaans, English and Sepedi titles all go through the same process. For academic and reference books we often recommend 6×9 on white paper, which gives room for footnotes, tables and figures.
