Cover design is one of the easiest publishing services to do at a distance. Everything runs on files, references and feedback, so Cape Town authors get the same process as clients who live down the road from our Fourways studio.
Many Western Cape authors we work with publish on Amazon as well as in print. We design both: the full print cover with front, spine and back, and the front-only ebook cover sized for online stores.
Covers for Cape Town’s writers
Cape Town has an active literary scene, with events such as the annual Open Book Festival, and the covers we design for the region lean towards literary fiction, crime, travel and memoir. Literary readers notice design, so we look closely at the covers in your genre before proposing concepts.
If your book is in Afrikaans or bilingual, we design for that too. Typography that works for English titles does not always suit longer Afrikaans words, so we test the title at thumbnail size before you see it.
