Business readers skim before they read. They look for headings, key points and diagrams to decide whether a chapter is worth their time. A business book interior has to make that easy, with clear heading levels, well-spaced lists, pull-out points and charts that sit neatly on the page.
For most Sandton authors that means our Standard Layout at R13 per page, which covers running headers, bullets and numbering and images. If your book relies on tables, frameworks or structured exercises, Premium Layout at R20 per page adds tabulation and structured content, and includes ebook conversion.
Layouts for business authors and companies
Many of the books we lay out for Sandton clients are written by executives, consultants and coaches, and some are produced for a company rather than a bookshop. That usually brings a brand guide with it: specific fonts, colours for headings and a house style for lists and callouts. We carry those choices through the whole interior so the book feels part of the same brand as the cover and website.
Layout also has to work with the cover. Once the interior is typeset, the final page count sets the spine width, so we can hand accurate measurements to the cover designer.
